Haryana Updates:High court should Recover from those involved in 6 Crore Rice Scam

High Court Justice Sudeep Ahluwalia ordered a copy of this order to be sent to MD, Hafed Corporate Office, Panchkula. It also said that as per law no action has been initiated against the guilty guarantors in this case yet, as the Hafed officers are meeting with them. High court orders this to the accused Gurcharan Singh of Kaithal sent on the bail petition filed by against the accused and others.

Kaithal police registered a case on 3 March 2019. It was alleged that the accused's firm had not returned a huge quantity of rice to Hafed, which was allocated paddy for custom milling, causing a financial loss of about Rs 6.27 crore to Hafed.

The petitioner owned Kaithal's firm MS Haryana Agro Foods. The petitioner's counsel argued that the petitioner is a victim of circumstances in which fraud and disregard were actually committed by the guarantors, who used the petitioner only as a pawn. The High Court granted bail to the accused.
