Maharashtra Government will not Handover Investigation of Sushant Case to CBI

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has clarified that the investigation into actor Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case will not be handed over to the CBI. The Home Minister took this decision after a meeting with other high officials including the Police Commissioner of Mumbai.

On the other hand, the Bihar Police team also reached Mumbai and met the DCP of the Crime Branch on this matter. The information gained on July 17, Home Minister Deshmukh had once clarified that the Mumbai Police would investigate the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput.

But there was pressure on the Maharashtra government to hand over the case to the CBI. Even Sushant's lady friend Riya Chakraborty once wrote in a tweet that with folded hands, I pray that the investigation of this case is handed over to the CBI. So that it can be known that under which gods Sushant took a suicide-like step.

Now, after Sushant's father KK Singh lodged an FIR in Patna and directly accused Riya Chakraborty, who reached Mumbai to investigate on Tuesday, the Bihar government once again came under pressure to hand over the case to the CBI.
