ED questioned Riya's Brother for 18 hours

In the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Riya Chakraborty's brother Shouvik Chakraborty for about 18 hours. Shouvik reached the ED office at 12.30 pm on Saturday and was seen leaving from around 6.30 am on Sunday.

Shauvik is the brother of Sushant's female friend Riya as well as accused in the FIR lodged by Patna Police. In the FIR lodged by Sushant's father KK Singh, the actor has been accused of disappearing large amounts from bank accounts. On this basis, the ED has registered a case under the Money Laundering Act.

ED opens Riya and Sushant together with hobby sources of his income, business, investment. He has inquired on topics related to his partnership in the company. Earlier on Friday, Shouvik was also questioned in front of Riya and her business manager Shruti Modi. On Friday, Riya, Shruti and their CA Ritesh Shah were also questioned by the ED for about eight hours.

The ED on Monday called Riya and her father Indrajit again for questioning. The ED had also asked Sushant and Riya's friend Siddharth to come to the ED office on Saturday, but Siddharth did not arrive.
