Bought extremely cold weather clothes for Indian Soldiers from America

In the wake of preparations against China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the Indian Army has received the first batch of cold winter clothing for its troops from the US.

Giving the above information on Tuesday, government sources said that the soldiers deployed on the border are also using them. He said that the Indian Army stocks 60 thousand sets of these extremely cold weather clothes for the troops stationed in Ladakh, including the Western Front and East Ladakh sectors in Siachen.

This year there was an additional need of about 30 thousand cents because of the People's Liberation of China. Because of the aggressive attitude of the Army (PLA), about 90 thousand soldiers are deployed in the area. The emergency purchase of these clothes in extremely cold weather will help the Indian Army soldiers in the Ladakh sector to remain alert even in extremely cold weather.

The Indian side has deployed two additional divisions on the LAC. One of them is from the plains and there is a mountain division which has been imparting training in high altitude operations for many years. It is known that India is receiving many types of equipment from the US including Assault Rifles for Special Forces and Sig Sauer Assault Rifles for Army.
