Computer Baba's ashram collapsed, seven including Baba sent to jail

An ashram built due to its political connections and encroached on government land in Jambudi Hapsi village of Indore district by Computer Baba (Namdev Das Tyagi), who has been given the status of Minister of State in both BJP and Congress governments in Madhya Pradesh.

On Sunday morning the district administration collapsed. On protesting, the police arrested seven people including Baba in fear of breach of peace, and Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Rajesh Rathore, present on the spot, heard the order to send them to jail. It is said that this land was given by the District Planning Committee in the year 2000 for the operation of the cowshed. Officials said that Baba was first served notice to remove the encroachment.

To evict the government land was also imposed, imposing a penalty of two thousand rupees. Despite this, Baba did not remove the encroachment. It is said that Baba occupied the government land and built an air-conditioned room in the ashram, and also collected goods of convenience.

Gun from Ashram: A 315 bore gun and air gun has also been found from the ashram. According to the Gandhi Nagar police station in-charge, Baba had an arms license. The police are now investigating its validity.
