France's President Emmanuel Macron, who is battling terrorist incidents, has given his country's Muslim leaders an ultimatum to follow the Republic Charter within fifteen days. There are two main things in this charter.
First, Islam is a religion and not a political movement; second, Muslim groups are banned from interfering with foreigners. The leaders of the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) have asked the country to accept this charter in 15 days. In France, there were several consecutive attacks by Muslim fundamentalists in less than a month.
Schoolteacher Samuel Patty was beheaded in an attack. This teacher was accused of showing Pangber in a cartooning class. After that, there were several consecutive incidents. Since these events, a period of strictness has begun in France. The mosque was closed by French authorities to clamp down on the Islamic group and their group of fundamentalists.
Along with security, such arrangements are also being made that Muslims living in the country stay away from fundamentalists. In this regard, French President Emmanuel Macron and Interior Minister Gerald Dannin met with the CFCM leaders and asked them to follow the charter.
