Risk of skin disease in patients recovering from corona

A new study by A. Ek showed that patients recovering from corona showed long-term skin problems. Researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) concluded at the 29th session of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, stating that patients recovering from corona show some new problems after a long time.

In April 2020, researchers collaborated with the International League of Dermatological Societies and the American Academy of Dermatology to prepare an international statement to analyze patients with skin problems. Researchers said that patients infected with corona and during the period of visible skin symptoms in them contacted the doctor.

This showed that the patients recovering from corona, after a long time, suffer from the problems of dermatitis. In 224 suspected cases from 39 countries and 90 confirmed cases of the corona, the average duration of visible skin symptoms was 12 days. Ather E. Freeman, senior author of the research and hailing from MGH, said that this has revealed the difference that corona has on various human organs.
