In the Corona crisis, the government has given great relief to the students studying in homes. For admission in engineering colleges, the Joint Entrance Examination-main ie JEE-Main will be conducted four times a year.
This will give the students a chance to improve their score because the exam which has more marks will be accepted only. It starts next year i.e. 2021. The first examination will be held from 23 to 26 February, while the next examinations will be held in March, April, and May. Results will also be declared four times within five days of the end of the examination.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced this on Wednesday. Nishank said that various suggestions were received from the students as well as various concerned parties, after considering which it has been decided that the JEE-Main will be conducted in four sessions - February, March, April, and May.
On the basis of this examination, candidates are selected for JEE Advanced, which is the basis of admission to IIT. Uttar Pradesh has also agreed to enroll in its engineering colleges on the basis of JEE Main. Till now they used to conduct a state-level entrance exam for admission in his engineering colleges.
