Construction of main temple in Ayodhya will cost 300 to 400 crores

Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, treasurer of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Nyas, has said that the construction of the main temple in Ayodhya will take three to three and a half years and is likely to cost Rs 300-400 crore.
 
 While the entire project will cost more than Rs 1100 crore. According to him, he made this estimate after consulting the experts associated with the Ram temple construction project. However, while speaking to a TV channel, he clarified that the trust has not yet released any official statement on the expenditure on the entire project.
 
 He said that it was possible for us (for temple construction) to collect money from some corporate. Some (corporate) families came to us and requested that the design of the temple be handed over to them. They will complete the temple project, but I politely refuse them. He said that our target is to reach 6.5 lakh villages and 15 crore houses.
