High court notice to Virat Kohli in online rummy game case

The Kerala High Court on Wednesday issued notice to Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and South Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia and M actor Aju Varghese on a plea to ban online rummy games. It is alleged that these people, being the brand ambassadors of this game, are addicting the youth.
Chief Justice S. Manikumar and Justice Anil K. Narendran's bench has also issued notice to the state government and summoned the reply. Pauli Vadakkan, a resident of Thrissur, has complained in the High Court that many people in the country have died after losing a large amount in this online game.
A fortnight ago a 27-year-old youth named Vineet committed suicide in Kuttichal in Thiruvananthapuram after losing Rs 21 lakh.
