Impact of the protest: Team 'Tandava' announces changes in web series

After the controversy over Amazon Prime Video 'Tandav', the producers and cast team announced to change it for the satisfaction of the people. After the streaming of the nine-episode political thriller 'Tandava' starring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, and Zeeshan Ayub began last week, it has sparked controversy by ridiculing Hindu deities.

Especially the scene of Zeeshan Ali's acting of Lord Mahadev as a college student is being strongly opposed. In an official statement, the team has again insisted that it was not intended to hurt anyone's feelings. It says that we fully respect the feelings of the people of our country. Our intention is not to hurt the religious sentiments of any person, caste, community nor is it to insult any institution, political party, and living or dead person.

Therefore, the cast and crew team of 'Tandava' has decided to change the web series keeping in mind the sentiments of the people. The team has thanked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for guidance and cooperation in this matter.

Along with this, they said that if they inadvertently hurt someone's feelings from this web series, they apologize again. The day before, the producer of the web series apologized, saying that the story of the series was fictitious.
