According to some estimates, more than 50 Unicorn startups may join the Unicorn Club by 2022. Sunicorns refer to startups that have the potential to become unicorns. Sandhu was addressing a function of the Indian National Startup Awards-2020.

Sandhu said that according to a recent report, Indian startups have raised the US $ 9.3 billion by the middle of December this year. During the program, Sandhu said that Bengaluru, Mumbai and NCR have completely changed the face of modern India and these cities are known as renowned global startup hubs.
