The Trump administration of US imposed new sanctions on Iran in the last days of its tenure. Many companies in this country are banned. Some companies in China and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have also taken action to do business with Tehran.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the US has banned seven companies, including China's Xiangyon Mascot Special Steel Company and UAE's Accenture Building Materials. He said that Iran regarding the spread of traditional weapons is blacklisted.

The Marine Industry Organization, Aerospace Industry Organization and Iran Aviation Industry Organization have also been blacklisted. Pompeo said in a statement on Friday that the State Department considering imposing restrictions related to Iran intentionally supplied materials against metals including certain types of aluminum and steel.
