In a shocking development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has sent notices to more than a dozen people in connection with the probe into the banned organization Sikh for Justice (SJF) case. These people include a journalist, farmer leaders associated with the movement against the new agricultural laws, and others.
The NIA official said that the agency has sent notices to several people for questioning. He has been called as a witness to confirm some facts of the case. . However, the NIA has also summoned Baldev Singh, president of the Public Goodness Justice Welfare Society, one of the farmer unions taking part in negotiations with the government on the new agricultural laws.
Baldev Singh has been asked to appear in the agency's headquarters at CGO Complex in South Delhi on January 17. Apart from them, Surendra Singh Tikriwal, Palvinder Singh, Pradeep Singh, Nobeljit Singh, and Karnail Singh have also been called on 17 and 18 January.
