Facebook withdraws, will restore its services in Australia

Dispute between Facebook and Australia over payment of news has now come to a halt. The veteran Internet media has decided to step back and restore its services in this country.

Facebook said on Tuesday that after an agreement with the Australian government it would lift the ban on people watching or sharing news on this platform on its platform. Australian Treasury Minister Josh Friedenberg said that it was agreed to change the proposed law.

Friedenberg told reporters after a detailed chat with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, 'Australian news will be reinstated on the platform of the giant. It has pledged to negotiate payment agreements with Australian media companies in a goodwill environment. '
