International Passenger Flights To Stay Banned Till March 31

In the wake of fears that new strains of the corona epidemic are coming up globally, the government has decided to continue with international flights by the end of March this year. Under this, the current ban on international flights has been implemented till 31 March.

However, special necessary international and cargo flights will continue to be operated under the Covid Protocol during this period. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Saturday announced the extension of the ban on international flights.

Incidents of the arrival of new strains of Corona in South Africa and Brazil, along with some European countries including Britain, have increased the challenges of dealing with Covid in the world. Signs of new strains of corona have also been found in some travelers coming to India from these countries. On 23 March last year, India banned international flights completely due to the onset of the epidemic.
