CM and speaker of Kerala were involved in dollar smuggling

Kerala Chief Minister P. Vijayan has been sensationalized before the Assembly elections. Swapna Suresh, the main accused in the jailed gold smuggling case, has alleged that Chief Minister Vijayan, Assembly Speaker P. Sriramakrishnan, and some ministers, as well as some employees of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consulate, were also involved in the dollar smuggling case. The investigating department of Customs has made this claim in the affidavit filed in the Kerala High Court on Friday. The Customs Department has said that Swapna Suresh has made the above allegations in the statement filed under Section 108 and 164 of CrPC. The affidavit filed on behalf of Customs (Preventive) Commissioner Sumit Kumar claimed, 'It is said that in the statement made under Section 108 and Section 164, Suresh has given the Chief Minister, the Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly and the State Cabinet. Some have exposed shocking secrets against the members. '
