Yuan Longping, a famous Chinese agronomist who developed a hybrid of rice, died at the age of 91. Longping solved the country's food problem to a large extent by playing an important role in increasing rice production. According to Xinhua, Yuan Longping was admitted to a hospital in Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province. Here in the disease, his organs gradually stopped functioning.
