Diamonds and jewelery worth three crores stolen from the bullion shop of Raipur

About three crore rupees of diamonds and jewelry and three lakh rupees in cash were stolen from Nagina Gems located in Nahata Market in the Sadar Bazar area of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, on Sunday morning. The shop operator came to know about this on Monday when he reached to open the shop. On his complaint, the Kotwali police station has registered a case and started an investigation. The operator has expressed doubts only about the young man working in the shop. He is also seen with another youth in the CCTV footage.

The market was closed on Sunday. It is said that at around 8:30 in the morning, Prakash, a youth working in the shop, reached the shop with another youth. He had the key to the shop. Entered the shop and came out and left in barely 10-12 minutes. Both of them had a full bag on their back and one in their hand. The guard sitting in front of the shop also did not interrogate Prakash because he was an employee there. On Monday morning, when the operator Narendra Duggad reached to open the shop, he saw that many drawers were open. Among them were missing diamonds and jewelry.
