Google launches second cloud region in India

Google Cloud India on Thursday launched its new cloud region Delhi-NCR. This region will help Google serve other customers in the public sector in the country and across the Asia Pacific. This cloud region is Google's second such setup in India. By the way, the company has not yet disclosed how much capital it has invested in this.

Google's first cloud region in India went live from Mumbai in the year 2017. It had three availability zones. There are similar availability zones in the cloud region of Delhi NCR. Google has 10th setup in Asia-Pacific and 26th globally. Cloud regions are geographic regions where a company develops a complete system to provide this facility to its customers.
