Islamabad | Pakistan has set up another TPS-77 radar site at Chor Chhawni, just 58 km from the international border. The TPS-77 Multi-Role Radar (MRR) is a highly capable radar system. It is used worldwide to monitor situation awareness and air traffic. The TPS-77 radar family includes the AN/TPS-77 and AN/TPS-117 radars from the American company Lockheed Martin. The TPS-77 MRR is the mobile variant of Lockheed Martin's successful TPS-77 product series. It is designed for very low power consumption. It is more transportable than TPS-77.
