CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam Results 2026 Expected Soon: Check Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to declare the Class 10 second board exam results 2026 very soon. This is the second chance given to students who wanted to improve their marks or clear compartment exams. Over 6.68 lakh students appeared for these exams held from May 15 to May 21, 2026.

Students can check their results on the official websites like cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. The marksheet will also be available on DigiLocker and the UMANG app. To check the result, you need your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and mother’s name. You can also get the result by SMS by sending “cbse10” followed by your details to 7738299899.

CBSE started the two-exam policy this year under NEP 2020. Students can appear in the second phase to improve their scores. The best marks from both attempts will be considered for the final result. To pass, students need at least 33% marks in every subject (theory + internal assessment).

The board does not release an official toppers list or merit list for Class 10 to reduce pressure on students. Results will include subject-wise marks, grades, and pass status. Digital marksheets can be used for provisional admission to Class 11. Original marksheets will be given by schools later.

Pass percentage in compartment/improvement exams has improved in recent years, going up to around 48% in some reports. This shows that the second chance is helping many students.

How to check result on DigiLocker:
1. Visit digilocker.gov.in or open the app.
2. Login with your mobile number or Aadhaar.
3. Go to Issued Documents and select CBSE Class 10 marksheet.
4. Enter your details and download.

Students should check all details carefully and report any mistakes to their school immediately. This result is important for choosing streams in Class 11 and future admissions.

Keep visiting the official CBSE website for the exact result date and time. Good luck to all the s
