After the ban on the famous Battle Royal Game “PUBG Mobile” in India due to security reasons now Afghanistan Telecommunication Regularity Authority ( ATRA) has now imposed a ban on the game in the country but this ban is temporary.

The exact reason for this ban is not yet known. According to the post shared by Gem Esports, ATRA has imposed this ban due to the complaints received from the Transport and Telecommunications Commission of the Lower house of the Parliament, Afghanistan.

In a statement Omer Mansur Ansari, the Chairman of Afghanistan Telecommunications Regularity Authority stated that “Our team submitted a report on the issue to ATRA Board after carrying out a comprehensive analysis, and then a decision was taken to block this game temporarily considering its social and security impact.”

A statement from ATRA received by Pajhwok Afghan News said the authority consulted the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Telecommunication and Science, psychologists, parents, school headmasters, cybersecurity experts, and other relevant sources on suspending the game.
