With this reply, it has now clear that it is no possible to launch PUBG in India again without the Government of India permission. E-sport entity GEM ESPORTS has shared this information in an Instagram post in which the Government of India replies back to the query field through RTI.

The query field stated that:

 ” Dear Sir/ Mam

In the month of September 2020, the Government of India with the consultation of your Department (MEITY) banned various Chinese apps. One of which was the Pubg Mobile Game. Now, there is much news that says that the game is being relaunched and the same is made specifically for the Indian Public and will not be harmful to the nation and its citizens. I would like to know if your department has given any such permission to the game so that it can be re-launched.“

Now it is clear that PUBG fans have to wait for more till the ministry gave permission to re-launch the PUBG in India.
