Chandigarh | Students failing in two subjects in class 9th and 11th in Haryana will not be failed. He will be given a compartment. The Directorate of School Education has issued these instructions to all district education officers. It was said in the instructions that it has come to the notice of the department that some schools have also failed a student who has failed in a subject. No student should be deprived of his rights. Compartment students should be given remedial coaching by May 25. Their re-examination should be taken from 26 to 30 May. The head of the school will himself be responsible for disobeying the orders of the Haryana School Education Board. These orders will also apply to the classes of State Model Culture Schools.
