The world of crime and policing is being heavily explored on digital platforms. In this episode, there is web preparation on the life of brave police officer Avinash Mishra of Uttar Pradesh. In it, Avinash will be played by Randeep Hooda.
This web series produced by Geo Studio will be directed by Neeraj Pathak. Shooting will begin in December. Avinash Mishra, who hails from Hamirpur, has been involved in the encounter team of notorious gangster Sriprakash Shukla.
According to Neeraj, Avinash later retired as Deputy Superintendent of Police while staying in the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). He is also referred to as Guruji. I met him three years ago. I found his personality very effective.
After two-three visits, I felt that a film or web series should be made on them. They gave permission for this. Other than, a book is also being written on his life. He also plans to release it along with the web series. The show will be released next year.
