PUBG: Battlegrounds peaked just right under 700k CCU last night

PUBG Battlegrounds announced the game free-to-play for its players which has started on 12th January. PUBG Corporation and Krafton announced the free-to-play at  "The Game Awards" in 2021. PUBG players can now play the game for free on PC and consoles. PUBG Battlegrounds' decision to go free-to-play looks like a game-changer for the Battle Royale game as it has given the title a fresh lease of life.

PUBG Battlegrounds is now free starting from 12th January and now this game is completely free for new and existing players. Since the launch of Free To Play, the number of active players in the game has increased a lot, data of which has also been released. The main reason for increasing the number of active players in the game is that different modes and maps are available to all the players in the game. Recently, popular streamer "PlayerIGN" shared data of active players in the game since announcing PUBG Battlegrounds free-to-play on its Twitter handle and captioned its post as "PUBG: Battlegrounds peaked just right. under 700k CCU last night Sunday -- a number we haven't seen since ~3 years ago, Aug 2019".
