The Income Tax Department has released the online form for ITR-2. If the annual salary is Rs 50 lakh or more, the taxpayer has to fill ITR-2 form. Earlier, the department had issued ITR-1 and ITR-4 forms on May 20. As per the department's website, ITR-2 Form for Income Tax Return is active for filing on online mode with prefilled data on the portal. The Income Tax Department had issued offline forms on May 17 to file Income Tax Return (ITR) for the financial year 2022-23. To file ITR offline, taxpayers have to download the form from the official website, fill in the required details and upload it on the official site. As per the rules, ITR-2 can be filed by any individual or Joint Hindu Family (HUF).
