Chopta (Sirsa) | Electricity Minister Ranjit Singh, who went to invite villages for Amit Shah's visit to Sirsa on June 18, had to face opposition from Sarpanchs on Tuesday afternoon. The sarpanches protested by showing black flags to the electricity minister. Although the minister assured the sarpanches to hold talks with the CM, but the sarpanches said that they would respond to the tyranny with tyranny only. Santosh Bainiwal, sarpanch of village Dadba Kalan and state vice-president of the association, said that he had already warned the government that any BJP-JJP leader who would come to the villages of Pantalisa would be strongly opposed. Baniwal said that Sarpanchs were lathicharged by the government in the past as well, for which revenge will now be taken from the government.
