BCCI's AGM will be held in Mumbai on September 25 before the ODI World Cup

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is gearing up for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to take place on September 25 in Mumbai. The primary focus of the meeting will be on the upcoming ODI World Cup and the preparations needed for the tournament. The previous AGM was held in Mumbai on October 18 of the previous year.

Apart from discussing the World Cup, the AGM will also touch upon other important matters such as the selection of the next head coach for the Indian women's team and the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, it is possible that the selection of the new head coach and support staff for the women's team might be postponed until the start of the new international domestic season in December.

In other news, the Indian men's cricket team will be participating in the Asian Games and will be coached by VVS Laxman, the president of the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Additionally, it has been reported that former all-rounder Kanitkar will be stepping down as the coach of the women's team.
