Champions League: Record breaking Erling Haaland

Manchester | Manchester City have made it to the next round of the Champions League after beating Leipzig 7-0 in the pre- quarterfinals. Erling Holland was the hero of this high scoring match. He scored five of Manchester's seven goals in a record- breaking 62 minutes on the field. Haaland scored goals in the 22nd, 24th, 45+2, 52nd and 57th minutes and took many records to his name. Haaland completed the hat- trick in the first half itself. Haaland said, 'I wanted to score a double hat- trick by scoring the sixth goal, but the coach substituted me.'

Haaland has scored 33 goals in 25 matches. He is the youngest player (22 years 236 days) to score 30+ goals in Champions League history. This record was earlier in the name of Mbappe.
